About Bugbrooke St Michaels Football Club

Established in 1929 and affiliated to the Northamptonshire Football Association, we are an England Accredited Club that has expanded rapidly over the years with ambitions to match.

Based in the village of Bugbrooke, the club offers a high-quality football experience in outstanding facilities with fully qualified coaches for male and female players.

We are proud to provide football opportunities for all and now boast Youth teams ranging from Under 7s to 18s along with 5 Open-Aged teams which includes a Ladies team.

Our first team play in the United Counties League Premier Division which is at Step Five of the FA National League System, just five promotions away from the English Football League, whilst our Youth teams play in the Northamptonshire & District Youth Alliance Leagues with our Under 18s playing in the Northants Senior Youth League.

All of the coaches in the club are qualified to the minimum of the FA Level one and many have achieved the level two and three qualifications, as well as other FA qualifications.

The club is committed to providing a safe and secure environment for our youth players and has a dedicated club safeguarding and welfare officer and robust safeguarding policies

All coaches and key personnel have undertaken the safeguarding checks required by the Football Association.

Our ambition is to ensure that player development and enjoyment are abundant in equal measure.

Our Facilities 

All of our teams play and train at The Sett which has nine grass pitches one of which being floodlit.

The recently refurbished clubhouse has a function room with a capacity of 180 persons making it an ideal venue for Wedding Receptions Birthday Parties, Christenings, Conferences & Business meetings and Other events.

The club also offers on site catering with an extensive menu for any event making our facilities amongst the best in the county.

The Future

Bugbrooke St Michaels is at one of the most exciting times in its history with plans and funding in place to help transform the facility, which added to success on the pitch along with a vibrant youth section the future of the Club has never looked so bright.

The club has a clear vision to provide a friendly community football club which is accessible to players of all ages and abilities to provide facilities of the highest quality that can be used for a wide and diverse range of community activities to bring high-quality football to Bugbrooke in a vibrant, safe and fun environment which can be enjoyed by all

To be a community hub for football and non-football activities and to play an active role in supporting the health and wellbeing of local people in our community.
