About us:

Brief introduction

AM Soccer Club is a highly-respected, community football club that has an unrivalled reputation for developing young players. We have SFA Quality Mark status with over 300 members playing from 18 month - 70+ years of age.

Since it was established in 2006 by former professional and UEFA-licensed coach Austin MacPhee, we have won plaudits the world over for our innovative approach to the beautiful game.

So what is the secret to our success? Simple. We care passionately about maximising young footballers’ technique and that means developing their touch, intelligence and speed rather than worrying about their ability to out-run and out-muscle their opponents.

At AM Soccer Club we offer weekly coaching for girls and boys, team football from u6’s to Amateur level, as well as foreign travel opportunities, professional trials and scholarships in the USA.

Why sponsor us

1) We have an unrivalled reputation for developing young players

2) We are community-focused organisation

3) We have a large reach within the local area

Today

We have grown from a football programme to a charitable organisation with multiple streams of activity. This includes 10 teams (boys and girls), a rural community outreach programme, a Walking Football programme for over 60s and a School of Football partnership with our local high school.

Aspirations

We aim to be the best community club in the world, using the power of football for social and community benefit.

History

Founder Austin MacPhee started AM Soccer Club back in 2006, building the club to become widely recognised as Scotland’s best, having graduated 18 pro players, five in the National Programme and three invited on trial with FC Barcelona. The club recently saw its first senior professional players, and players to gain a soccer scholarship in the USA.
