About Wellesbourne Cricket:

Wellesbourne Cricket Club  is a well established, modern club with a long and proud history dating back to the early 19th century. On Saturdays the 1st XI play in the Cotswold Hills League Premier Division. The 2nd XI are in Cotswold League Division Two. We also play in the Arden Sunday League. Our junior section (boys & girls) play in the Cotswold Hills League & WCB leagues, also entering u9s softball tournaments throughout the summer. On top of this the club regularly host games on behalf of Warwickshire Cricket Board. See fixture list for more details.

The club is pro-active with its junior section and does everything it can to bring on young players and establish a love of the game. Monday night training sessions are very popular where qualified coaches are present to pass on instruction and advice with a view to them gaining game time in the junior teams with the ultimate aim of them progressing to the senior teams in future.

A club without supporters is a soulless place and thankfully Wellesbourne CC is blessed with loyal support. Anyone with a love of the game, or even a passing interest, is always welcome to come along on match days and offer support and sample some the the fine refreshments on offer at the bar, which is always open during a match.

Audience:

Wellesbourne CC has a strong social media presence across different platforms (Twitter, Facebook and Instagram) which could really benefit your brand in achieving your objectives - particularly the likes of brand reach, exposure and recognition to grow sales.

Our attendance varies throughout the season, dependant on weather and teams playing. However we average around 50+ spectators at a summer match, not including players. This offers a great chance to build brand awareness for your business!

We also boast a strong attendance for our All Stars evenings (Fridays), where around 250+ juniors and parents attend.

Digital:

We post regularly on our Twitter account, and would promote all our sponsors through Twitter also. Our audience here is over 1,000 and we are looking to continue growing this. We also use Facebook and Instagram, with an aim to use this more in the coming seasons - which would again increase your brand reach as a sponsor. We understand the benefits social media can bring to businesses nowadays.

Facilities:

Like any good club there is a full and active social calendar, and during the season events are arranged which include race nights, quiz nights, presentation evenings and more. These events are open to all club members, their friends and supporters of the club.
