About us:

Springhill Cricket Club:

Established in 1948, Springhill Cricket Club is a community sports club based in Lower Penn, on the outskirts of Wolverhampton.

We believe sponsorship of our club will deliver value based on a marketing investment for financial return, CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility), or for the love of the club.

Whatever your motivation, find out more below. Thank you for visiting our profile.

Why Sponsor Us:

Audience:  Our diverse playing membership from ages 13-75 means various age groups are open to brand exposure at the club. We believe our membership base offers opportunities for numerous businesses due to our membership variety.

Facilities: The club offers a range of facilities available for hire, such as the playing facility and pavillion - suitable for a range of events. This creates huge brand awareness opportunites for brands to be seen across numerous sports, events or activities through the club.

Digital: We are hoping to grow our social media platforms over the coming season, despite already using Facebook and Twitter to promote the club and matches. Our following on both platforms are strong, totalling around 2,500 followers.

The club has a flexible approach to sponsorship, with perks ranging from but are not limited to:

- logo & link on social media posts and websites pages, to an audience of roughly 72,000 annually

-  physical advertisement on club assets, providing exposure to players and spectators which will also be advertised through our social media

- opportunities to advertise at club events, to an audience wider than our existing membership base

- captive audience of club members for exclusive business promotions, driving top-line sales

- invites to community events

Alternative/supplementary perks can be arranged through negotiation dependent on the level of sponsor commitment, budget and your business objectives.

We are committed to giving you and your company the exposure and promotion you deserve. We recognise that without your support many of our club members would not be enjoying their sport at the weekend!

Today:

We currently have 3 teams playing Saturday Cricket in the Staffordshire Club Cricket Championship. We also have 2 sides playing Sunday, one in the Sunday Border League and a friendly/social side for more relaxed games. We also run coaching sessions through the year and hosted the 2021 All Stars cricket & Dynamos - which we hope to do again.

Aspirations:

Our aspiration is to continue our commitment to bring people into the game and offer not only physical, but also social opportunities for everyone. We are committed to making both small and large improvements and are constantly working to improve our clubs facilities which include widening and levelling our outfield, improving our training facilities and developing a youth section.

History:

Springhill Cricket Club  = 1948 - Present

For the majority of the clubs history, we have existed to offer playing and social opportunities for both new and existing players to the game through friendly cricket. The club's major growth started in around 2008 when we made the decision to move from solely offering friendly cricket to also offering league cricket. This was furthered with the construction of our new pavilion, where work started in 2014. We have slowly continued our growth and in 2021 fielded 3 Saturday league sides and 2 Sunday sides - as mentioned above.
