About us:

Rocklands Cricket Club is a sociable, family orientated club providing competitive and social cricket for all ages and abilities situated just 5 minutes from Attleborough, Norfolk.

Youth Cricket

Our youngest players take part in All Stars Cricket (5-8 year olds) and Dynamos Cricket (8-11 year olds) which are softball cricket sessions on a Sunday morning between 10am-11am. This is ideal for children new to cricket or those not quite ready for hardball and will start on Sunday 16th May 2021.

We have hardball youth coaching on a Friday night between 6:30pm-8pm which will start on the 16th April 2021 for those in school years 3-10. On top of this we have hardball teams playing weekly games at Under 9, 11, 13, 15 & 17 age groups. New players (boys and girls) are welcome and no previous experience is required. Our coaches are ECB qualified and DBS vetted.

Senior Cricket

On a Saturday we have two senior teams playing league matches throughout the summer. Our senior setup also includes a Sunday friendly team, Over 40s midweek Twenty20 team and the possibility of a midweek T20 team. Our senior players also have a midweek net/training session.

Ladies Cricket

We host Women’s Soft Ball Cricket Festivals each year which are free and includes prosecco on arrival for all participants. New for 2021 we have entered a Ladies Soft Ball Cricket Team to play other local clubs in a kwik-cricket format. It’s a game for absolutely everybody, no matter your skill level, fitness or age.

The Club

The Fundraising Committee have put on big social events for the last few years including a 5K Colour Run, Cocktail Party, Family Fun Day, Pizza Night and much more. These are open for club members and the wider community. A lot is planned for 2021, Covid-19 allowing! The Club has worked hard to improve facilities which now include a high quality two bay fully enclosed net practice system and artificial wicket to complement the other facilities at the ground. We have also held Clubmark accreditation for a number of years. You may have seen that in 2013 our fantastic tea ladies won the national Yorkshire Tea Great British Tea Challenge in front of a panel of Judges led by Michael Vaughan at Lords.

We are always keen for new members, players and the local community to get involved with the club and welcome visitors who might want to see what is going on. If you would like further information regarding our youth or senior training sessions, please get in touch by email:

Regular updates and photos are available on our social media pages including Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. We also produce a monthly newsletter which can be found on the News section of our website:
