About us:

About us:

Leamington Khalsa CC is a local cricket club based in Leamington and Warwick. The club is open to all ages, backgrounds and abilities and is ran solely by volunteers who through hard work and dedication, have managed to establish 2 Saturday sides competing in the Warwickshire Cricket league and a midweek T20 cricket team.

We have a wide catchment area stretching from Leamington to Coventry, as well as a thriving on site cafe that attracts up to 100-200 people throughout a game day on a saturday.  The addition of the cafe has allowed the club to attract more players and attention towards the club and provides a fantastic platform for small local business to promote themselves.

We also have multiple social media accounts used to promote the club providing regular updates with the latest news.

Why sponser us:

We have a strong growing membership that is increasing each year that is currently sitting around 50-100 members. By sponsuring us, you will benefit from established ties within the local cricket community but on top of that, you will gain benefit from the passing trade from the cafe in which both can provide useful ways of connecting the club, community and supporters. Along with this, we have global industries that are local to the groun such as Jaguar Land Rover who regulary visit the cafe during week days and with some, being active members within Leamington Khalsa Cricket club

You will be helping the club grow with its ambitions to provide greater opportunities and better playing facilities to entice more of the local community to join.

Our growing social media content will enable the club to grow, however more importantly it will be a great platform for you to be able to promote yourselves to a wider audience.

History:

Leamington Khalsa cricket club was formed in 1995 with the aim of providing an avenue where adults and children of mixed abilities can play cricket for their enjoyment. The club gained honours in successive years winning the midweek premier league and the cup. In 2005, LKCC acquired the grounds at Lighthorne village which allowed the club to enter the South Northants league where successive promotions occured before reaching the premier division. The ambitions of the club have not stopped, the senior team have now moved on to be an established Warwickshire Cricket League side who have gained multiple promotions and are now comfortably playing in Division 3 and 7 respectively. In 2008, the junior teams were developed with age groups of under 8s - under 16s participating in their respective leagues.

Today:

We are an established yet growing club. We have 2 senior sides on a saturday competing in the Warwickshire League in which our opponents are all located within either Birmingham, Coventry and Stratford. 1 midweek T20 side and one Sunday side.

We participate in the ECB's All stars Programme which is a first experience for all children aged 5-8 years old where they’re guaranteed 8 weeks of jam-packed fun, activity and skills development.
