Why Holton le Clay CC
Established in 1967 in its current location, with only a hut as a changing facility, and the help of dedicated villagers with a love of Cricket, Holton le Clay Cricket Club now has a membership of over 500 and despite rising from the flames of a devastating fire in 2016 the club is more popular than ever, both as a sports venue and a village social centre.
Operating 3 Senior weekend Cricket teams, 6 Midweek cricket teams, along with 9 Junior football teams we cater for many of the adult and youth, sportsmen, girls, and boys of the village and surrounding area.
The club is extremely proud of the junior sections and is keen to expand on their success by developing a ladies section, to enable them to progress in the game.
We aim to continue to support our youngsters and senior players, whilst at the same time expanding to become a fully inclusive club, improving our facilities to enable us to welcome ladies and disabled people; offering opportunities to players of all ages and abilities.

Why Sponsor Us?
As a successful, self-financing club, Holton le Clay Cricket Club's only source of income (other than holding fundraising events) is by relying on the generosity of local individuals and businesses to provide funding. Providing quality opportunities and experiences for players does come at a high cost to the club and, without these contributions, the club would not be able to exist in its current form or be able to achieve the goals it has set for itself in the medium to long term.
The club is not-for-profit and reinvests all monies raised back into the club for the good of the membership. Being a member of Holton le Clay Cricket club, ensures we can scale our annual investment to meet our ambitions, ensuring the future sustainability of the club and the ability to provide opportunities to play cricket to people of all ages and abilities for many years to come.
Being part of the Lincolnshire County Cricket League and Grimsby Mid-week league means our marketing investment can be focussed to maximise value to your business. Matches against visiting teams from all over Lincolnshire means that your brand will be visible across Lincolnshire.
The club has a flexible approach to sponsorship, with perks ranging from, but not limited to:
- company logo & link on social media posts and website's sponsors' page
- physical advertisement on club assets
- opportunities to advertise at club events
- invites to club events
Alternative/supplementary perks can be arranged through negotiation, dependent on the level of sponsor commitment.
The cricket club draws players and spectators from a wide geographic area and is within easy reach of the East coast resorts and the Humber Bank factories.
Whilst we are a small community club, we are committed to giving you and your company the exposure and promotion you deserve.
Very well established, the club still retains the family ethos from the day it was founded in 1968. More recently it has been reinvigorated with the efforts of new committee members and more involvement by club members, co-ordinating on and off-pitch development. There is a deep-rooted passion for cricket, youth football, and dedication to local success in all, taking strides to refresh aspects of the club across the board. The club is hoping to move away from a low-income, low-spend model, towards a more integrated, sustainable model to deliver longer-term growth through local partnerships and sponsorships.
These changes would, hopefully, improve financial health and increase participation. Any new community ties would help to manifest themselves in setting the right foundations for future prosperity.
The club provides coaching and training facilities for youngsters and social responsibility is taken seriously by the club and ticks boxes for its sponsors.
We anticipate that this is just the start of a new beginning, with a bright future ahead.
On the pitch - the club's ambitions is to build on previous success and continue to field two senior Cricket teams in the Lincs League and 6-midweek teams in the Grimsby midweek league and the Knockout Cup, as well as building on the success of the junior teams at ages U9, U11, U13, and U15.
Off the pitch - to build upon and foster stronger community links and local partnerships, with a view to providing a fully inclusive club, offering "cricket for all", for future generations to join, support, and enjoy for many, many years to come.
The Ultimate goal - to raise major funds over the term of our lease, to enable the purchase of our ground from the owners. This will guarantee the long-term future of the Club.
