England Deaf Basketball has in the last seven years expanded and developed, made possible using social media and our website. We would love it if you could become one of our commercial sponsors for our developing youth section, you’ll not only be part of our fantastic deaf community, but your organisation would be associated with our branding, and our young people, fans, and supporters will be mindful of your support, come along and watch our games, join us.
England Deaf Basketball consists of 55dBs players only.
We currently have 4 teams and are in the process of securing another 2, which is very exciting for us! We would love for your businesss to be a part of this.
Audience:
We play all over England using different venues and match officials.
The community get to spectate the basketball matches for free via visiting the venue, live streaming, social media, highlights on YouTube and photography too. We are also open to local tv/radios via News media where available.
What will a sponsor get?
The exposures will be spread via live streaming and social media as well as the websites. Most of the clubs are also exposed on the local news in their respectful regions.
This is a great organisation to build your brand reputation and awareness alongside each other, promoting inclusivity and showcasing your brand around the country.
Aspirations:
Our aspirations are to grow more opportunities and develop more talented athletes within the Deaf Basketball Community.
As mentioned previously, we also hope to secure 2 more teams in the near future.
History:
England Deaf Basketball caters for deaf community providing domestic competition and allows members to take part, as EDB had a good history since 2015 as hey started with two teams leading to 4 teams. History shown lack of support leading to teams struggle for income to keep running and a new organisation was found in 2019 with new governing documents as well as new board of trustees to ensure domestic competition will continue for the next 50 years plus creating development plans in young potential talents.
