About Me

Olivia is a 15 year old girl from Shefford, Bedfordshire. Although relatively mild she is diagnosed with Tourette’s Syndrome and ADHD.

Liv started Karting in 2018, just 4 years ago, in the cadet class for 8 to 12-year olds. Being a young girl in a hugely male dominated sport she
struggled somewhat at that age but plugged away and achieved moderate success in those 2 years. In 2021 Liv entered the Formula Junior TKM British Championships for the first time, just 14, the only girl and competing against boys up to 16 years old she came away with 8th position in her first full year in juniors. I really enjoyed working with the bambinos at Rookie racing as it was fun watching them progress throughout the day. After each session I gathered them all together to talk about the different areas they could improve and it was a great feeling watching them go back on track and try their hardest to put those changes into action.

Working with the kids was enjoyable as I could see how hard they were trying and it was really nice to see lots of young, aspiring drivers look up to me as a driver and take my feedback on board. In the future, I want to go further in motorsport, showing young girls and children with special needs that they can still do as well as others and that they can do whatever they want to do. As a long term career working with Children is something I am very interested in.
