In the 2022 season, Luke competed for the GB U23 team in both sprint and marathon. In sprint, Luke raced K2 1000m with Finn and they achieved 2nd in the B Final which is 11th overall having missed the A- Final (top 9) by 0.8s. In marathon, Luke placed as the 9th U23 in Europe and went to the World Championships at the end of September

In 2023 Luke aims to be the U23 National Champion in K1 1000m and 500m in sprint and K1 marathon. Internationally, he hopes to achieve A finals and top 5 finishes in both sprint and marathon on the European and World stage. He is also aiming to achieve his first senior sprint squad selection at a World Cup.
